plea it down to something like a broken tail light. tell the prosecutors office, you WILL PAY the fine in full, for that reduced plea, all they want is the money
and SLOW DOWN, no matter what you drive or operate, if you value your CDL and your future.Jjay, Just passing by and Puppage Thank this. -
You can lose the job you have right now because of it.
Just passing by Thanks this. -
You may call Roadlaw they are the lawyers ooida would send you to if you were a member?

Get a lawyer. They may be able to get it reduced or changed to a non moving violation

10 mph over isn't career suicide.

Not all states will reduce the charge.
Some HATE truckers. Even though it was his personal vehicle. His driver license still says commercial. -
The CDL can easily be lost or have no value due to employer finding out about the tickets such as 15 or even 25 over. Once a year drivers have to fill a form stating any violations past 12 months. And ergo there we are.
Anything 15 and over is suicide for a CDL holder. Some states actually arrest at those speeds or over 90 creating a instant mess of everything.
Because you hold a CDL A or B you are supposed to be held to a higher standard. If you do not conform to that standard its lost.
