That doesn’t work particularly well anymore. Newer steering gears that give you only about four turns from stop to stop don’t really tolerate it.

Sure there is. Just when the media says it they forget the word competent.
Anyway next time something like happens that just seems wrong, tell them you just got your license and would like to know what law states you have to use hand over hand so you can look it up yourself and learn the way steering is "allowed" in truckingOdin's Rabid Dog Thanks this. -
Thanks for the reply, According to ontario provincial commercial vehicle law hand to hand is mandatory. I use that in test and cleared it . May be hand over hand was his own preference but anyway i will apply in some other companies.
