    I have seen a couple trashed CM2350 because of fuel pump plunger/roller failure.

    Yeah 2250 and 2350 both have fuel pump follower issues.
    Doesnt hurt to pop the pump head off and verify it has steel plungers and no roller galling.
    Most of the following failures I have seen are related to poor oil maintence or debris.
