never had a problem with dish. cept i c on the websight (in fine print) that reviever must be returned upon termination of lease. what kind of scam does satellite have going on these days. PAY for a receiver, PAY a monthly fee to use that receiver. AND return upon termination. you don't pay for a cell phone. pay a monthly lease fee. and told you have to return that cell phone after 2 years are up. but satellite tv. return or pay 700 bucks. and if that receiver breaks before your 2 years is up. don't order a replacement (refurbhished) machine. that's a fresh 2 years. and hope you don't change your programming. that's also a fresh 2 years.

a fresh contract, WITHOUT YOUR SIGNATURE, i might add. (here in utah, that's against the law.)

once signed up. your there's for life. or pay the price.

no thanks. i have slingbox, it allows me to watch my tv anywhere in the world. it don't cost me a monthly fee. and it don't screw with my credit rating. it runs off cable. which also don't cost me a receiver or a monthly lease fee to use. and no termination fee. and since the box sucks. i have tivo. still no lease fee or termination fee though. just the usual video recorder fee that cable or satellite also charge. without the commitment or the failure of equipment.

i never got screwed with dish. but i refuse to buy equipemtn, lease the equipment. and have to return the equipment with either company. specially when the quality of either of the box with either company really sucks these days. breaking off with tivo was the worse thing either one of them did when it comes to there own video recording software.

satellite tv, NAH. :biggrin_25512:cost too much money at the end. not everyone has the capability of useing the service till the day they die. or still has the very first machines that ever existed and have yet to fail.

    Hey NTW,
Good call on the travel softball team. Our girl played travel ball for U-10 Georgia Pressure and $800.00 was just the start. This fall it's back to REC ball. She did learn a ton in that year she played but Daddy is going into Trucking now so $ will be tight for a while. I head to SpringMo a 3p today to start wheeling for Prime with a Trainer.

    Good luck to U,
    Sparkyhd

I live in the country out in the middle of nowhere GA. Cable hasn't even thought of running cable out this far. I just got DSL last year. Before that everything came in over satellite. Internet and TV. To far out to get a good TV signal too. I like DirecTV. Not hapy about the new return policy but I only have one box that this applies to. Before I got DirecTV I was watching TV shows on DVD from Netflix. I have a slingbox too and I love it. I can watch my tivo over here in Iraq too.

Hey guys. Question... If someone tries to pawn off a load to you that you absolutely know will not make it to the destination on time, do you have the right to refuse that load and request a new one?

Why would you refuse the load? It can be rescheduled and if it gets assigned to you already behind schedule, it's not your fault. Communication is key. Make sure they know as soon as you are assigned the load that it is impossible to make it on time. This goes for any company.
