    Yep for every load!

The problem with accepting loads that are already late or can't get there on time is Central charge companies detention if you sit at the shipper or Receiver for more then two hrs after your app time. if your late the company doesn't have to pay detention, For a Lease Op its $30 hr, for a company driver its $15.00 hr I think.

Ah wow, ok I see. So if they assign one to me that's already late, I can request that it gets rescheduled? And what if it can't be..? Will it just be late, me get charged for it being late, or will they try to get me to run illegal?

Yep have your FM contact customer service and see if it can be rescheduled!!

NO Central won't have you run illegal, with the QC its impossible!

If they don't get the load rescheduled make sure your Butt is covered by sending messages on the QC not over the phone!

You don't get charged for it being late but it does go down as a service failure if its your fault its late.

Just looked at their website for the payscale and such. Does Central force per diem? Looks like they do.

After two days of Rec leg practice I am seriously looking for sponsorship so she can play travel. This league that we have to be involved in now is nowhere near the level of competition we are used to. At 12U stage these girls don't bunt, steal or even lead off. They are still playing ball like it is slow pictch ball. Our daughter is the only girl out there that can hit the ball to the 220 sign and throw the ball from home to 2nd and hit her target everytime. I didn't work my butt off with her for 6 years already for this not to lead to the possiblity of a college scholarship. We are now a truck driving family and will never been able to put her through vet school or even dorm fees as far as that goes. I need her to get an acedmic and a softball scholarship to cover her. That is why we started this thing. A little investment through the years is alot easier to come up with than $40k a semester for vet school............. ya know what I mean?!?

Well had my first day at my part time job today. Don't make a lot of money but at this point any money is alot better than no money.

1st day of school seem to go ok for the girls. New schools just take some getting used to. They should do fine.

1bad is sitting in MO till Wed when his next load picks up. In two weeks he hasn't driven that much. Hoping things start turning back around. Just when we thought he was going to get set miles every week his truck breaks down (still really isn't fix) and now he stuck where they have no freight coming out of. So time will tell I guess.

Thanks for the info. Been two hectic but quick weeks and now I am sitting here with my shiny new cdl going through orientation waiting to get into the real world. Had to take my backing and road test with the flu, as if I wasn't nervous enough already. Hopefully I will get one of the good trainers you are referring to. Saw JJ picking up his student, too bad I wasn't done week earlier. Wish me luck, and thanks again.
