Volvo 670 vnl check light

Hey guys another tech question. I have a check light on the cruse control. I took it into the TEC service station and they did a diag and upgraded the firm ware and stuff,, (800$) and told me the cruise works fine and the diag software says truck is perfect and they can't figure out why the light keeps coming on. They would have to start throwing money at it to figure out. They recommended to just ignore it and make some money...lol So I am wondering if any of you guys have ever seen this problem before? Its pretty weird.

the truck is a volvo 670 vnl, 2016, i shift tranny 13 speed i think, I'll check the codes and post them. It says on the dash that it is for cruise control, but the cruise control works and the codes on the shops DIAG is not cruise, Its like DEC something or somethin.// I'll look at the invoice and post the rest of the info you mentioned. as you can tell I am a super noobie.....lol
