Progressive Insurance increase in premium

Gov Regulatons and high insurance rates are putting a slow stranglehold on small time owner operators. I believe that its only a matter of when oo's will all be gone and then the megas will be the only ones left.

I agree for the most part with you, but I don't believe that all O/O's will be gone. There will likely always be a specialized niche somewhere, one that the megas can't or won't do, one just has to find it.....

 

I am glad to hear that.

As long as your ELD shows that you left out of your yard and you returned to it and you didn't come back to your hometown, I think there's a pretty good chance that they will restore the rate for you.

In my opinion they absolutely should, because that definitely is your place of business and you are adhering to the rules.

My opinion, many people with new authority had no choice but to use Progressive and then lied about what they were doing in order to get the premium lower. Now they’re questioning everything and it causes headaches for you guys that are doing it correctly. It just sucks because it creates a headache for you, but hopefully they’ll come around once they see that you’re not feeding them a turd sandwich about how you run your operation.
