Not all mega's will take someone who's been off the road as long as you have.
Going back on the road; get a fresh start with a new outfit.
Seems some new drivers or drivers with little experience, have already made up their mind which company they're going with. Even though many drivers ask questions, in reality they've already made a decision and just want others to validate their decision.

 

I was tired of being on fire, so I jumped into an active volcano.

 

The idea is to find a good company. Not one who treats you like trash.
I work for a mega. Could suggest. I know the OTR drivers don't do as good as I do. I work dedicated regional. I walk all over them. My mega seems a little different. We have no lack of anal offensive people. But there is a wisdom there. Thought and consideration in management decisions. My operations is great. Company takes care of it's business. I don't have to run around, putting out fires the company lets burn. Person in charge of my 'compliance' knows what she's doing. Thank God! For once, I don't deal with idiots screaming violation violation. When they don't know what they're talking about. My company always gets thrown in with other mega's and discounted. It's Crete. For me personally, it's the best job I have found.
