You have to get past the dogs, the fire department and the friends on the police department that drive by frequently.:biggrin_25525:

Heck lived in my house for 12 years
Used to lock the door, but the ex wife would break out a small back window when she needed something, all she had to do was ask
Anyway figured that was enough never locked the door again, now I cant find the keys

IF YOU ARE NOT THERE TO ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD(REN) IS KEPT AWAY FROM A FIREARM, IT SHOULD BE SECURED.

I did not say to keep it locked up 24/7. You want to sleep with it under your pillow, that's fine. But, when you are not there, lock it up.
Since there are no children in this house, and no children visit this house, I have my pistols within reach, but out of sight.

I sleep at night with no problems.

I have gotten up and went on fire calls. House was unlocked and remained unlocked. In fact, keys were left in the vehicle at the fire house.

I do not feel threatened and am at peace in my world.
