Its no the pressure that the problem its the oxygen %.
Prolonged over-oxygenation is dangerous, tingling leads to dizziness, and eventually coma. And I'm still not sure why you have a CPAP anyway!
Carpal tunnel would get worse during the day, with movement.
A clot would be easier to identify, there would be a localised swelling, redness and heat from the affected area. Bloodwork would confirm it.
numbness, tingling in my fingers, arms???

Cuz without CPAP, I stop breathing 60-70 times an hour! I have both obstrustive and central sleep apnea. My airway will collapse when I relax and my brain will forget to inhale. before I got my CPAP machine, I was a miserable S.O.B. I never got enough sleep, grumpy all the time. It even caused other health problems. I've had my machine for over 12 years now. it even saved my marriage. Dont know if that has anything to do with my symptoms now though.

I am going to lean more to carpal tunnel.
I was under stress from the dead ac and gripping the steering wheel hard.
I woke in the night with the numbness on the arm not being laid on.
Carpal tunnel will hit at various times as well. -
When the person returns for their next physical, they must bring the data downloaded from their cpap showing they are using the cpap for a specified amount of time.
This is a big deal in the trucking industry. They want all drivers to get a good sleep, even if it requires using a cpap machine. -
Food for thought...Carpal Tunnel Syndrome affects the fingers, hand and wrist..rarely does the tingling and cramping extend up the arm beyond the wrist..(hence carpal...the carpal joint is located in the wrist, the tunnel is the cartilage "tube" protecting the nerves and blood flow through the "hinging" wrist movement).
Rereading your described symptoms, (fingers and arm tingling) the occlusion could be in the armpit, or possibly a pinched nerve in the clavicle proximity or base of the neck. My question would be first; what is your neck structure like, you said you were a bit heavy..is this muscular heavy or fat heavy, and where on your body is this additional weight. Is your neck structure like a body builder (over muscled) or like a (don't be offended) obese person (lots of hanging stuff)?
This arm and finger tingling could also be a spinal disc issue, did you strain recently, or not necessairly recently, did you strain your back or neck in the last couple years?
Waiting for your reply. -
Just my humble thoughts here.. I ripped a muscle in the lef side of my chest about 7 years ago.. to this day, after alot of stress, I can feel that muscle twitching.. and that night I will wake up a dozen or so times because my fingers and hand are numb and tingling.

carpal tunnel when bad enough can and will cause the entire arm to go numb, been there done that...it causes the entire arm to ache at times too. My surgons report said I had the worst case he had seen in 15 years, and I only had it 4 months prior to surgery.
Once you get swelling and aggravation going on other nerves/muscles join the scene.
GO TO THE DOCTOR. -
As for straining my back, again what man at my age hasnt strained his back at some point. I will be making the appt. with my Dr for the next time I get home and insist on some answers this time. -

I've had the similar symptoms for years, and it is always worse when it is colder in the truck when I sleep. Neurologists and MRI made it sound like I had a bulging disk in my neck, and that was causing the nerve pinching. 2nd opinions went toward carpal tunnel, which I didn't really go for, as the nerve conduction tests were border line inconclusive. I stopped wearing the collared uniform shirts that were restrictive on my neck and shoulders, and that helped a ton! You may also get relief from a Chiropractor.
