Hey @062 , we are always working to improve the application. I'll reach out to our developers about the shortest route option. I also sent the info about 459 and 20E to them to look over. Right now, if you go to Menu (3 lines) and then tap on Settings and then tap on Routing, let's make sure your preferences are set up how you want them. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Ive tried to do 3 routes 2 of the 3 it couldn't find a route

 

I downloaded this and used this today. It didnt display the shortest route and the arrival time was off by about two hours.

 

Hey @Mid-May Trucker, Sorry to hear about your experience with HAMMER so far but we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. I believe I have a work around for the issue you are experiencing. Go to Menu (3 lines in upper left corner), then tap on Settings , then tap on Routing. From this screen, can you toggle OFF "Avoid Unpaved Roads" please.

Is there a way that we could "customize" our route? For example, I run to the same the same 10-12 warehouses, but on occasion I'll run to a jobsite within 15-20 miles that does not yet have a physical address or does not come up when entering it as a destination, but I get directions from the contractor on the best/easiest route to take. Is there a way that I could customize a "saved route" by entering the directions given?

 

I gave it a shot, but it's just as clunky as CoPilot to enter addresses. Google will show recent addresses across all of my devices.

No North Up option? Always zooms in on Nav? No corrections to average speed? Google does a pretty good job on ETA's - in the day of ELDs, accurate traffic corrected times are more important than ever.

Nothing beats an Atlas for truck routing, but Hammer fails right along with both Google and CoPilot in routing me on Tail of the Dragon out of Robbinsville.
