I dont typically wear a seatbelt in the truck for reasons I will keep to myself because it doesn't matter. I guess I fully deserve a terrible and untimely death too for that huh. I can picture it now

"Yeah man I seen this guy driving down the road without his seatbelt on ! Hope he dies in a wreck !" Give me a break

Never wore a seat belt in a truck until it was required by law in Texas about 15 years or so ago. All my trucks except my ‘99 either weren't built with seat belts or only have laps on driver seats only and none on swamper seats. So it looks like to the outside world I don't have mine on either. Never been stopped for not wearing one either.

 

No however if you die because of it don't expect me to feel infinite soro.
Also people die by getting hit by flying bodies the seatbelt law isn't just about you I know most of you selfish truck drivers don't think about things like that.

 

The seatbelt isnt the end all be all. Although it does increase your safety people can still easily die right there strapped into their seat. I'm wondering why yall are so offended the guy wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Also curious about the stats and numbers of people ejected from their vehicles and ending up in someone else's killing them as well. Enlighten us please, all-knowing moral compass

 

So if only one person is killed by someone flying out of their car because they didn't a seatbelt that makes it ok?

 

@Badmon it doesn’t matter. Some folks are gonna be judgemental and negative no matter what happens. Even if you get in a wreck with your seatbelt on wearing a helmet and a parachute they will still blame you and burn you at the stake for it and of course have no sympathy. Lol.
