    Yep

but I really have to say here lately not so impressesd
    as a company
    great people etc ...
My terminal is loosing so much freight I just can't make no cash 1200-1500 miles per week 1-2 loads if lucky

The main problem I have issue with currently is the safety dept .
They have hired a new director of safety which is doing a complete over haul of the department all at once no gradual increment all now ..

    1. Gps match log
    2 no personal conveyance
    3 no power inverters
    4. On duty any time in the truck no off duty except meal break

I have got 4 viloations last month here they r and mind u I run 100% legal no variancees or a hotdog trucker ..

    1. 0.8 of a miles (tenths) in a petro parking lot looking for a spot to park the truck showed movement on GPS after my 14

    2 . 0.2. Same as above but after 11

3 0.5 same as above. But at terminal lot

4 . Truck showed off duty on my log but a local driver drove my truck during my off time but the truck is assigned to me and it singed me for a FALUSEIFICATION trucked moved total of 15 miles the day .. I was at home ..
    come on .....

I am not leaving superior as of yet I am just weighing my options it was awesome to be here and corporate is great it's just a few issues I have with the new safety stuff and my terminal in which I am a little disgruntal ... Currently

    To clairify ..

Those are nothing. What was your punishment? I would think sitting down with the TM would solve all that. I had a couple from June within the 15 minute window just like yours and one where they said I couldn't go 49 miles in 45 minutes in an 85 mph speed limit zone. My TM agreed with my reasons, told me I was doing great and that was that. I have started running no more than 10.5 hours driving and 13.5 for the day. Made me 15 minutes late to load this morning. Oh well.

Sorry to hear freight is down in Memphis. We are still pretty busy in High Point. Thats about the only place I hear drivers not complaining about miles though. Scott did tell me yesterday freight was picking up in the system. He thinks construction work caused by the stimulus bill is helping. Seems we haul a lot of additives used in asphalt. Maybe things will pick up a little.

yea i know what you dealing with as far as violation points. Already got 265 points for log violations this month. The bad part about it was that they were more or less worried about losing the account than the driver going into violation.

they want to run LEGAL for safe stat but u better not be late
dam if u do dam if u don't

I had to sign the viloation even the one for not even being in the truck .. I was off they used the truck and the log company dinges me ..

    I run just like mostly

Those vilations were in safe havens cause the grid coordinate changed on the truck I guess it showed movement

    I like it here

But man they really need to tween this log thing or we r either

    1. Gonna loose tons of freight due to lates

    2. Every body will get fired from log points

I suggested they make load planners give us windows on all shipments this would help tons .. Or give you the load earlier if it's firm

Also suggested using the ETA screen for dispaths

    Such as

I will be at consg. 13:00 with 5 to drive and 7 on 14
this gives them a more accurate way to utilize trucks etc legally

I also suggested us using sensor trace on the qualcom to log in and out of truck so if it's used on your time off then the driver assigned the truck not getting dinged for the time and movement

I have had to sign them in the past. I figured it is mainly a CYA deal for them. This last time all I did was look at the computer screen with my TM. He clicked on all the questionable entries the computer showed. I could tell he thought it was BS. There was also a percentage out by my name. I am guessing its noncompliance. Mine was around 5%. I saw some others as high as 45-50%. I have a feeling some old hands are learning new ways to do things. That yellow button on the dash pings the trucks position every time you push it. The red one doesn't or so I have heard.

As far as dispatch I doubt ETA's would help much. I rarely get the impression that anything is planned farther than 24-48 hours ahead of time. Sometimes they wait until the last minute and give you a just in time delivery window to minimize layover pay.
