About 20 meters from my grandparents house in Portugal. The road is also a one way and he was going the opposite direction.

Have not pulled a dump trailer, but should you not have better control over the lift ? If getting unstable are you not to lower the trailer quick?

Yup , mine has a nice short lever . Push it forward and body goes down......

Can’t imagine using a touch screen.

This is why I stressed in the other thread why European trucks are different than NA trucks. I'm guessing that tight squeeze is not uncommon for a truck to negotiate. Would you want to have to do it with a 2 axle cabover or a 3 axle conventional? If the realities on the road were the same, both European and NA trucks would be similar in appearance.

Like everything in life ,it is not that simple.
Yes there lots off small streets in the EU but there are also wide open spaces.
And while that "driver" got stuck, buying the right equiment is important.
Just today there was a post in the flatbed section where the reciever told a O/O he would get stuck.(this is in the USA)
What the reciever didn't know was that this O/O has a small flatbed on his truck, where normally the sleeper is.
And the load for that reciever was on that ,not on the trailer.

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.
