Driver is okay,no injuries amazingly!! A wreck like that could’ve easily been a major injury or fatality!

Looked like 6 straps to hold the load. Yes speed was a factor. Yet I am more concerned that the binders could have been tighter or not enough were in use. Allowing the load to shift.
FerrissWheel Thanks this. -
That thing was up on the right side wheels off the ground on the left side before the load ever shifted! Just my opinion from what I saw in the video!

I’ve been on that stretch of Highway a many of times very winding, curvy road that driver was going way to fast for those curves imo

Why is it called a load shift if it stayed on the truck the entire time.

In the words of my old boss “There are only two reasons a load shift. It wasn’t loaded properly to begin with or it wasn’t tied down correctly”.
Like I said in another post, I put the “load shift” excuse right alongside “I lost my brakes” and barring major mechanical failure, both are the fault of the driver.mtoo, FerrissWheel, Badmon and 1 other person Thank this. -
Ive been on that TP and speed was the problem.
There is a certain speed you can run at and use the inside of each highway curve on that route when no one is around to hold her through. But when you go too fast you are going to roll it before you lose the load.
5 hours of curves in the inside. What joy. Making time through the night back then. Not too fast. You would roll it and ruin it all.FerrissWheel Thanks this.
