I worked for a temp agency for a few months. It was hourly pay and I was making around $2.00 hr. more than the company drivers where they sent me. When a driver asked me how much I was making, I'd reply, "Same as you."

And... regarding their Top Ten pay rating... that is based upon their PUBLISHED pay scale and NOT on actual payroll. That rating is based on what they OFFER as pay and is not necessarily the actual pay you can achieve. Caveat emptor!

Their published yearly amounts are based on avg payroll amounts. Their pay structure is one of the most transparent around. I crunched the numbers & found that even just counting base pay for your region with 5yrs you would probably make at least 50K working just 9mo out of the yr doing 2500mpw. A full time driver taking 4 days of every 30? Probably 70K at least. And thats not counting any of their bonuses which of course are subjective dependent on individual performance.

You may have a beef on the Tax form request but their pay is definitely above average for OTR.

13 years experience but no hazmat, base is 59cpm + band pay for shorter runs. Been home every weekend for 48, & getting good miles in. Most weeks are all drop & hook so far. Send in a hometime request macro every Monday stating what day/time you want to be home and day/time you want to go back out.

My only 2 gripes are that I can’t bring my dog & it takes 90 days to be eligible for the health insurance. part of the discussion removed
