Hello, I am new to this forum and new some advice so I can hopefully continue my driving career. I obtained my class B lic. 3 yrs. ago with a T & P endors. I drove H20 & dump truck for a owner/operator. I then also was employed with a private bus co. doing tours. I obtained my class A permit and was practicing with a tractor/tanker but unable to get license. Now, i want to continue driving but have a few felonies from 7 years ago and it seems it has to be 10 yrs. Can anyone help with my situation???? I have relocated to a different state and want to drive OTR & need to find CO. who would train & employ for my Class A.

Now I don't mean to sound harsh, but a touch of reality is needed here.
Unless MI is different from many other states, you would not have been able to get a P endorsement with a few felonies. Not sure what employer would hire anyone with a few felonies to drive a passenger bus. Since you've relocated to a different state, you may have to start all over with the CDL process.
I'm all about second chances and in some cases thirds and fourths, so stay on the straight and narrow. Understand you are going to have detours on your road to getting a driving job. Most importantly, be realistic about what you will be able to do with your record. -
Just curious.. Why can't you get a P endorsement if you're a covicted felon ?? Are you sure about that, or is that just an opinion ??
You can get every other endorsement, as long as it's not certain felonies, right?? -
i have a number for a recruiter that specializes in finding jobs for past felons, i will PM it to ya.
