I-80 Pileup Wyoming

I averaged about 45 from cheyenne to rawlings. about the same to ft. bridger from there. got up this morning and eastbound was still closed.

 

Another clue is the fact that it’s I-80 in Wyoming IN THE WINTERTIME!!!
S***!! At least no one was killed!!!
Definitely one of those your life flashing before your eyes moments!!

 

Top bunk would have been a different story.

 

It got truly horrifying after the crash with the sound on.

 

Yep, I just watched video. Would of been better ride out into snow. That’s a prime example of a driverless truck

 

as usual, everyone too close together as no one wants to lose any precious seconds -

 

These clowns keep driving in packs and too fast for conditions...they get what comes to them for doing this...

 

Wow a white volve actually was the first to slow down. I think i saw a pig flying in the video

 

Icy road, several trucks following to close, possibly going a little to fast, not reacting to changes in traffic, not taking the ditch...


Just a whole bunch of bad ju-ju all at the same time. Sad thing is that thus has become the norm, I see it all the time through there. I run 80 through WY every week all year round, when conditions go to crap I will do everything I can to avoid running in or close behind a pack of vehicles... Slow down, pull off for a while, run alone at night, ANYTHING I can to avoid the idiots.

From what I can see in the video the conditions appear to be about normal for that stretch of road this time of year. I was through there exactly 2 days before this accident, and it was much the same... Like it usually is in the winter.
