For starters, when I started there they said they would pay me 40cents a mile, after I started it was 38cents a mile with a 2cents bonus. which I have never gotten even after running 55 and 60 miles per hour. There is 2 lies even before I started with them. Dishonest is dishonest, how much do you need.

Well, its really hard to come back to you, when in your original post you didn't put any detail. Did it occur to you that there may have been someone who was thinking about going to work for them and you could have saved them the same problems you're having? We are all here to try to help and support each other.

Now, to your problem. Have you gone to your direct supervisor or payroll with your issues? We all work for reward, and that's a paycheck. They owe it to you and it should be correct. If you haven't, you need to talk to them. If you aren't satified with the answers you are getting, go to someone higher up in the company. Keep going until you get the satisfaction you deserve. Are you eligible for the bonus? What did you have to do to get it?

Do you have other issues with the company? Or are your problems the RPM and bonus only? Anything in writing? I'm not familiar with the way Ward does their truckload division.

There are people on here a lot smarter than either of us, who may be able to help you but you have to give some detail.

Here's on for the books, you could be like me and a few others. We have felonies and are having t work for pennies on the dollar to feed our families and pay the bills.I would give just about anything to make 38 CPM right now just starting out I will be making 13CPM and thats alot less than what yourtalking about but to me its the rents paid and the bills too but most of all its exp. and that will go a long way down the road

    luvtheroad Thanks this.

I seem to recall that one of their drivers lost it in their Altoona yard a while back. He started ramming other employees cars with his truck and may have rammed one of the warehouses. I think it would be safe to say that he agrees with the OP about Ward.

This is probably an isolated thing, don't you think? That driver might have had a gripe with another employee and figured he would trash the cars. Did it for sure have to do with the company?

We had a driver who was making city deliveries and got to his last appointment. He drove around and around the building many, many times. The customer called our company and told the terminal manager. The manager called the driver on the radio and asked about it. Driver's response, all the doors are closed, I cant find an open one. It was summer... all the dock doors were open, the dock workers were standing at the doors watching the guy drive around the building. The terminal mgr. got the guys wife, another driver, and they went to the customer's place. Got the driver stopped. His wife and the manager took him to a mental health facility, he had a breakdown and couldnt figure out what to do, so he drove. I'm sure his thing about all the doors being closed had some signifcance but who knows what. Come to find out it was his family and other pressures that make him have the breakdown, not the company. He took a short "vacation". The company held his job and he is back at work. MINUS the wife.
