Stayed in Gary at the Petro, got up at 0100 and ran the 110 miles to drop in Belvidere, grabbed an empty and bounced to Middlbury, Indiana to pick up a preloaded trailer going to a small town North of Green Bay for a live unload in the morning.(Three times through Gary in one day blows.) From there I will bounce 71 miles away for a load going to Lincoln, Nebraska for a drop sometime Friday.

A question for you.
Maybe you have answered this question before but I don't remember.
Being a leasing operator can you choose where to fuel? -
We can fuel within our network if we want our fuel discount. Loves, PFJ, T/A Petro, Sapp bro’s, etc. You can check for the cheapest fuel along the route using the Omnitracs or the TRANSFLO app.

That's something I wondered about, but never asked. That's good to know.runningman0661 Thanks this.

After dropping at Mason OH, bounced an hour northwest to Lewisburg, dropped and hooked going to Fremont NE, then back to the yard for a load to Four Oaks NC, then home for a couple, grab the wife, and back out for more miles and merriment.
MidWest_MacDaddy and runningman0661 Thank this. -
Dropped in Waverly, Nebraska, and then bounced to Lincoln and grabbed a preloaded trailer going to Ellabell, Georgia for a live unload Monday. Then I will go over to Pooler, Georgia and live load a load Monday morning going to Topeka, Kansas for a drop.

So I got one of those Sioux Honey loads that requires a tanker endorsement, which I do have, but I have never hauled anything that requires it. Any of you guys ever hauled one of these loads? I imagine if it's honey it probably won't surge as much as gasoline or something like that. Anything I should know before picking it up?
-
Nothing unusual. Easy on the curves, watch your speed going down hills. Be sure to scale so you are axle legal. Oh and make sure you got two load straps. They will strap load for you. Its eight large tanks. I think eight anyway. RM correct me if I am wrong. Usually 43000 lbs.
Cobrawastaken Thanks this. -
Thanks for the reply. I figured taking it slow was probably a good idea.
Luckily I still have the straps they gave me when I started here lol. Used one once and got it back after delivery. -
Like George said, the surge is almost unnoticeable because it’s so thick.gntorres61 and Cobrawastaken Thank this.
