If superior is still taking new drivers how soon should I expect to hear from them regarding an application? I just recently got my CDL and have all the endorsements and twic. They were my first choice before all of this drama started so I hope it's still worthwhile. Thanks.

yeah, called while sample was being pulled. Gave me a load to Holland. Already loaded, so hooked and not due until monday at 1600...so I'll go half way there tomorrow and look for a hotel and do a 34. Been a while since I've done a 34 in a hotel. past year, most of my 34's have been in the truck. Saw a couple Heniff trucks and trailers at Kingsport. Said they let their lease run out(next door) and just moved in. Makes sense they do kind of own the property now! hahaMortarmaggot Thanks this.

What terminal are you applying for? That actually could help us out more, I'm sure someone might have some info, depending on the term you're applying for.

Sounds like some, or all of those new green trucks will be going out soon, I heard out of 200, 30 are doing to Markham, and 15 to Kankakee.... Curious if anyone else has heard anything. Not sure who's getting what, guess we'll be finding out soon enough
Mortarmaggot and yankatank Thank this. -
I am interested in the Baltimore terminal
-
Apply. I was just there last week. Fairly sure they are taking applications.

Call and ask to talk to the terminal manager directly he is a good guy. Before the Heniff dealings hiring was basically all done by the TM with corporate approval.
I'm not sure what to think anymore everyone system wise is saying the system work seems slow but we appear to be busy as ever and scrambling to over things. I've had almost no time off lately at home doing a 34 currently but I'll be rolling out 0200 tonight the minute its complete for Ohio.
One thing I've notice is it seems like Log ops is handling more and more dispatching from my perspective and its made things a mess. Twice this week I had loads all messed up when they got involved. Also twice this week picked up loaded trailers at a shipper with zero hoses on board which is really fun... been a extremely frustrating experience lately. Also repeatedly ending up going days on recaps is joyful. -
sheesh I called Springfield and somehow got Baltimore last week. That dispatcher was completely LOST on when I was asking him about my drop and hook at Eastman in Kingsport. FINALLY after 5 minutes of trying to figure out who I was trying to call, he said, this is Baltimore, I don't know how you called us instead of Springfield? I was lost too, same number I called day before....hate when lines get 'crossed'! lol

I haven't received bunk pay for the last two weeks...WTH!
