    So... interestingly, I got a live load at some hole in the wall place called FCC in Grand Prairie, TX...

    if any of you happen to be in the area around 9pm, or earlier, Saturday Night and see some beautiful Emerald Green Volvo sitting around waiting to roll...

    My bad... it said “FCC” and I thought the town sounded like one of your locations... but nope... some Candy Factory... they use BIG RED letters too...

    A dumpster fire that is now being fueled by Knight. They seem to like to hire college grads with zero experience for everything. I don’t miss it a bit.

    No offense taken...
    I sometimes wonder why myself...
    ... and more and more lately...

    I like my Volvo Trucks, I like most of our Freight, and I like the Lanes we run... they don’t tell me where to fuel, they let me bring my “little” puppy when I want, and a few other benefits... and I have high hopes for my new and growing crew in West Memphis... and I really don’t like job hopping...

    Some companies offer higher CPM... while other offer potentially more miles... heck, some offer both... I can name two that are on my short list...

    ... but, when the day comes, it will be that “ineptitude” you mention that will be the reason I leave.

    I hear ya, my biggest pet peeve is not being pre planned when you knew when and where I would be empty for days, and an operational staff (load planners and dispatch) that are clueless.

    You know, even though Knight has done some good things for Swift, overall they went to crap. Yeah, Swift wasn't the best, but there was a point where I was doing ok at that company. If I wasn't so new at the time, I could see myself easily getting 3000 miles a week back then. They really went downhill last year and I couldn't stand all the sitting around and waiting so I had to find a company where I could get some miles. I'm doing great now though. I don't even need to explain, the rest of this thread tells you enough about FCC.

    Yep. It's the great culture here at FCC. The trust and respect between drivers, and dispatchers, planners, safety, office staff, mechanics is second to NONE. Finally, I have found a home!
