update on my 359 project.

    almost cant even see where it was streached after dressing down the welds a bit and some por 15.

    local metal supplyer is bending me up some 5ft long 5/16th inserts to go in the frame. should have that and the driveshaft tomorrow

    What did u do to make the welds disappear ??, i always wondered how guys make welds looks clean, good work man!!

    grinder and paint makes you the welder you aint.....lol a good weld with no porosity or under cut filled above the surface. you can make it smooth and flat with a flap disk.

    Are you going to utilize the holes that you just drilled to install the pusher axle or will you have to drill new ones?

    Another question, I can see where the two frames are met together and welded. Why does it dip some on top of the rails? Is it because the 83 frame might be slightly different then the 2010 frame you got?

    Just watched your recent video today. Wish I could of lended you a hand to install the inserts! It did not look like fun trying to handle that with grease on them! LOL

    The truck is looking better everyday!
