I was told by my terminal manager years ago. "We don't air pump".
Always thought it was against company policy. You are basically pumping a closed trailer. Make sure you keep pressure on it or you risk imploding it

I've only done that using plant air and my pump.yankatank Thanks this.

I don’t think you can run the pump and compressor at the same time on a superior truck, at least not on the one I driveyankatank Thanks this.

My truck has the ability to run both but not sure if I'm comfortable risking it. If it was plant air I might be inclined to try it more... I'd be worried the pto output wouldn't be able to keep up with the volume and either blow a shaft or strip out the splines.
*edit* I've got a hydropack style truck so my pump and compressor run off hydraulic...Mortarmaggot Thanks this. -
Just an FYI. Inwood is backed up like crazy. Called Log Ops to have them call the customer. I've been sitting two days now since checking in and giving them my information. Apparently there are 5 of us waiting. Hope like heck I'm at the front of that line.

Well, like my dispatchers always tell me, keep track of your times. 2 days in Inwood W.V., NiceMortarmaggot Thanks this.

Is the 5x points an IC thing? PFJ is where I have always done my fueling and never got those 5x points
-
Nope, I noticed it as a company driver and our fuel cards are the same.

Is that the plant next to the Rutter's truck stop? Don't recall if they have showers, but the store is nice.Mortarmaggot Thanks this.
