Truck parking should be a right not a privilege. They take a Census every ten years, why don't they take one on the amount of large trucks there are in a particular area and provide parking. This is why guys like me opt for "home every night" positions so I don't have to deal with that bull.

Nope, I don't feel that way.
First the moment (generic) you throw a punch at me all bets are off. How many punches should I endure before you're satisfied I can finally defend myself? One? Ten? One Hundred? And why should I? After all you started the aggression, not me. I mean if you say I should take 5 hits before I get to defend myself, what happens when hit 4 knocks me out? Now I'm on the ground, likely getting kicked and more damage to my body for why? Just so some aggressive driver can feel entitled and justified and do it again?

And I look at it also like the driver should not have brought fists to a gun fight. After all, I highly doubt the weapon was concealed.

Some of us have lost the capacity to engage physically for one medical issue or another.

When I was younger combat was joyful and sometimes I pay for it. But today where I am? Its very risky and not improving any time soon as age marches on. There is a reasoning that if so and so was capable of physically without a weapon defeating say someone in the 60's or even killing same, the term is "Disparity of force"

As far as weapons are concerned there are special holsters one should consider that requires three particular actions done a certain way just to remove the weapon from it. If you were to try and grab the holstered gun from such a holster, you will find that you will pick up the entire human attached to that gun. It's not going anywhere. Other holsters only take a weapon in and out one way. Any other angle it wont come out.

I remember my lessons of Krav disarming weapons from people. All I have to do is wait until their attention is off me for a moment and they do not have the weapon anymore. Its that fast.

My argument is in regards with a security guard. If you’re a Joe Shmoe and you’re minding your business and someone wants to pick a fight with you I can understand putting a gun in between especially if you’re an older fellow and some young thug wants to make an example. Obviously an older guy has to use a peacemaker to get an advantage. But when you’re a police officer or a security guard you’re supposed to go thru physical conditioning so that you can hold your own so you can discourage or control instead of dropping bodies at every occasion.

Try buying several acres of land in or near a busy metropolitan area, pay companies to clear and prepare the land, pay for the land to be paved and painted, pay for trash services, pay for employees to pick up the trash, pay for repairs to the pavement and light poles and tell us how cheap it was to do all of that.

EVERYTHING is cheap and easy when you are spending someone else's time and money.

I worked at a gas station/convenience store for a short while. I saw the damage done to the pavement from 5-10 trucks over a year parked one at a time for only an a hour or two and once one parking overnight.

Being able to guarantee a parking spot when you get there at 3am ISN'T a benefit to a driver? I'd spend $50 of the bosses money to guarantee a parking spot in many places.
