Need new trubo for MBN.

    I would say head gasket,mine went after pushing 45 psi but liner protrusion was at .002.
    It also was pushin coolant out.

    Well the new exhaust housing on the turbo seems to have fixed the (lower than normal) power problem. Now just have figure out how to get alittle more out of it then the normal MBN power. Harvest is coming up and would love to have more power to pull those 90K loads around with. I am looking into replaceing the muffers. Don't know if I want PP muffers, Donalson muffers, or just straight 5" pipes. Any ideas? The 6" straights sound great on out 3406 B & C models but can get to you after awhile and I drive this truck more than the other two.

    Makes one wonder why the stock turbos have wastegates. I guess a guy should just leave shat alone! The engine aside from a little hotter egts burned just as clean with 10 psi less boost.

    How many miles do you have on the latest rebuild? Isnt 20000 the number of miles it usually goes before it comes unglued???:biggrin_25513:
