I've had to do it in the past as a company driver but when I see something that says I have to count the freight or do anything like that than I've got to get paid for that also. These rates barely support hauling the load. Lol. I'm sure I'll get turned down a lot and that's ok. Plenty of reefer freight that pays really good that isn't produce. -

Had a short fill up, 684 miles. 350 was the 7 pallets to NJ, I went the back way down 41 to 295, then loaded 43,600lb of liquid totes back across the turnpike, 10.16 mpg.

I’ve done several tanker loads, but not like this one. I’ve only hauled oils or additives that have the consistency of glue. This stuff is some kind of additive that has the consistency of water. This stuff surges a lot. Every time I hid a big bump is starts sloshing and moving me around. I could definitely feel it when stopping and starting on the city streets getting out of Linden, NJ.
RStewart Thanks this.
