FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Somehow, dispatch "lost" my hometime request and my two doctor appointments (consults only) and have scheduled me to go to Florida with a Loziers load. After a 200 mile short hop from KC to Lincoln NE and the same stop to Council Bluffs (54 miles), I need this 1400 mile load. I want to make this trip. Doctors can wait, wife is gonna have to wait. My tranny is throwing fault codes so here in Lincoln at the KW dealer perhaps for the night. OFW.

 

That Loziers load is still not ready to go. I was actually planning to get down to the Flying J in San Antonio FL on Saturday, take an airport shuttle on Sunday to Tampa airport, rent a car, drive down to Fort Myers and catch a Blue Jays Twins spring training game, and deliver Monday, but alas, this plan has been reduced to delivering Monday. The bright side, I just saved $200 between game ticket, rental car, airport shuttle back to and from the truck stop. DANG! Things aren't perfect here, either.

 

Correct. It was in the system, he just missed it, did not respond, and I didn't follow up. My bad, too!

 

5th day in the shop. Hopefully its done today. They replaced a wiring harness. Then they said there is a short somewhere. I need to get back out here.
