I haven't had any problems with them. I spent an hour in the one on I-80 talking to them before waiting for my company to ok a permit. Not really any different than any other weight station out there.

They're pretty much always open. Have your paperwork and weight in order, and you'll be fine.

WY is unlike many other chicken houses where you just roll the scale and they tell you to go or come in.

At all of the big ports you have to go in with your registration and IFTA. Some of the smaller ports it doesn't seem like they are as picky with this requirement and will give you a green light to go.... some times.

I haven't been through there since 2000, but the guys were decent. I had one that decided to have a bit of fun at my expense since it was my first time in that state. I just dished it back, and we had a good chuckle! It was all good natured.

Just make sure your ducks are in a row, you'll be fine.

The guys at Cheyenne always seem to be easy to get along with. They dish it out well.

    Brickman Thanks this.
