    Also most companies will run practical miles from zipcode to zipcode & not door to door, which shorts you most of the time.

    I'm not saying this driver didn't do a proper pre-trip but.....

    Most likely, this was a case where lug nut were loose. The hub & bearings are intact but the drum is gone & the lug bolts are sheared off....
