    That whole plastic piece, around the radio, pops off pretty easy. You might be able to fit a wider radio in their, once you pop that plastic off....

    The newer autos are not too bad. I drive a 2015, with an Eaton autoshift. The truck has 180k on it. No problems yet.

    You can also check with OOIDA. I'm pretty certain that email is a scam. Seems like I remember OOIDA putting out a warning on this last year.
