Wheat harvest is around 3 weeks away depending on weather. The flood of out of state trucks will begin shortly. Feeling we are going to have too...
Been awhile since I've posted. I've been hauling wheat to flour mills last 3-4 weeks. I really don't know whether there will be much of a wheat...
Don't you have a belt trailer? Guess that's why I haul grain to bypass the digging and hacking to get a load off.
Wow, actually offering some decent rates again next week. Some will have to be augered but it's a big boy- loads fast.
I don't know them. Abilene is about 90 miles Northeast of me. Where is he hauling that hay to Kentucky?
I was happy about the rates. I hate to be negative all the time about them but that's just the way they were. Hope you can stay busy also...
Finally got some good paying loads next week. Hauling wheat up to elevator, reload and go to ethanol plant. Good Friday elevators will be closed...
Offered some loads today I hauled last year. Problem was they were 1/3 cheaper to haul. I don't know to many things that have gone down this past...

Got offered some 1.12 loaded mile loads. No Thanks I'm not that desperate.
He's out of trucking. Pulling hoppers isn't bad just the rates right now. I stick to grain but feed products can be a pain.
Doesn't matter if you complain or not if the mods decide someone isn't acting right they can ban them.
Perhaps because of your comments to windsmith.
Ditto on that.
I used to see some petes with orange hopper bottoms out of Colorado...can't remember their name though.
Nothing surprises me anymore in the hopper business. The big boys are in everything else why not hoppers.
RR load is that railroad load? I don't get out much it seems.
Makes sense but around here some don't follow that policy. Elevator I hauled for six years dropped me when another carrier came in with lower...
