that is usually the relay valve down on the frame near the axle, and not a problem with the switch in the cab.
have a GOOD shop check your toe-in and (hopefully not) toe-out on the steering axle. if it isn't aligned properly the truck will wander all over...
here in SE PA, most dump trucks have 18 or 20k steer axles, single steering box with a slave cylinder on the passenger side for steering assist.
