I had this same problem, there was a loose connector in the dash under the fuse panel ( took me 2 years to figure it out after wasting a lot of money.
I had the same code, whenever I used to hold my brake pedal for few seconds at a stop sign or light this annoying code would show up and go away...
Replaced def pump and Problem solved!
