Sounds like wiring or switch caused by resistance. Heat causes resistance. Could be a bad ground.
I got 4 on my n14 and 4 on my Detroit. Also have 4 on a couple older cats.
Bad grounds can make lights do funny things especially on the turn signal blinker circuit.
I always use 1 5/16 socket on mine.

sounds like the fuel filter is clogged. My N-14 will do the same thing when the filter restriction gets too high.

Thought of that one too the guy who fixed our a/C couldn't locate that switch. He said he looked everywear. HP and mpg aren't to big of an issue....
i will check on that but i think they kept everything from the old motor and just transferd it to the new one. Truck doesn't warm up very good...
