    The answer to your situation is get another job. Everyone has to start out somewhere, I would get the experience you need and move on. this job is hard enough, I don't need the government breathing down my neck more then they already do.

    It's the frog in the boiling pot principle ...

    These old timers will put up with it because most are too close to retirement to do anything else.

    The newbs will never know any better.

    And the few in between will continue to jump from job to job looking for the "perfect" company.

    There is no "driver shortage" - and till there is one, wages wont change.
