IMG_3917.jpeg Need a little guidance here. I have a ‘13 Pete 388 and the A/C won't take the 4 lbs of freon that the truck is supposed to take. I let the vacuum sit for about an hour and some change. It took 2 lbs 8oz of freon when I tried charging it. Also, the compressor won't kick on. I touched the relay behind the dash and noticed that the compressor would then kick on. Any help is appreciated. Thank in advance.

Sounds as though there is an issue with the relay terminals or wiring connected to it. If you can make the compresssor run it will more than likely take the remainder of the refrigerant. The "touching the relay" issue needs to be adressed.
