    The unloader mechanism can start to carbon up inside the compressor head itself and get stuck. Give it a few raps with a hammer and it might free up and start working again.

    I'm glad you found your problem. Sound like you have it under control. The unloader valve in the compressor head wouldn't be bad to do if one had the facilities.
