@slickWillie1980 Thank you, mine is set up just ablittle different. I’m still wondering what my extra 2 holes are for. (Mine has six spots, yours has 4). Hummm the mystery continues. Lol.

Other then changing the flasher out to a grounded one to accept the led tail lights, i haven’t touched the hornets nest behind that dash....Looks like a weekend, a test light and a case of beer will be on order:)

That panel came out of an 85 and I have a friend with an 85 with a different setup than my 82. It may have varied from truck to truck depending on setup.

On my truck? Nah, it’s the original panel. I went to school with the Farmers son, so i was and am still able to bug them about it, but some stuff you just get shoulder shrug. They have 2 trucks, because they need them. They are by no means “truck guys”.

    I wouldn't say that exactly.

    Not all N14's are E's.

I honestly think the best Cummins ever built was the N14 430 Mechanical.

Mechanical Fuel Mileage vs Electronic Fuel Mileage is often effected by comparing different trucks.

Cat 3406C 425 Mechanical used to get 6.5-7.0 mpg at 80,000 lb & 65 mph in a FLD where as same engine in a W9L got 5.5-6.0 mpg.

    My dads bc4 was 87 I think 315hp cpl 838. 3.55 direct drive on tall 24.5 lifetime avg 6.5

Other than some more fuel going it, it was bone stock. He got rid of it for a 1992 ch condo with the E-7 400 and said he was disappointed in power coming out of a 315 to a 400, so that 315 had to be pushing 400-425. It needed to be rebuilt every 350k or so
