I dunno, I’ve witnessed Nashville 4wheelers and I won’t make a judgment until I see the dash cam.

Crashville. Those 4 wheelers drive like animals there I wouldn’t doubt the 18 wheeler got cut off and didn’t want to kill the idiot so he slammed the brakes.

Man I hate every large city. I try to avoid them all. Especially during commute times. Sometimes I would have planned my route to go through nashville and Chattanooga in the early morning like 2-3am or late nights past 9pm. Same with Atlanta, Chicago, and Indianapolis

All Turns departed GSO, NC BASE on Friday, usually b4 noon, to be
"on time" for the normal East Side Loop, Watermelon 400 Backup.

Used to roll through Crashville at least once a Turn. Pulled Freight for MACH 1.
Sometimes I went from BASE to Crashville then I-26 East to I-75 to Hotlanta, then back to Crashville back to BASE.
Other Turn: BASE to Crashville, get sum freight, next morning, off to Memphis, swap/get some freight then 40 to 30 to DFW-Coppell Saturday night. Sometimes back same way in, sometimes back I-20, sometimes 20-10 to Mobile, AL., then Hotlanta and BASE.

Standard Turn: to S.C. on I-85, X57, get some freight to Hotlanta, Forest Park, MACH 1 terminal to DFW, Coppell, LARGE MACH 1 terminal. Arrive Saturday evening or early Sunday. (usually "camped out" at X17, I-20, Alabama, then completed tour). Unload/Reload back to Hotlanta for Monday, offload/reload, Deliver in S.C Tuesday (sometimes), then back to BASE.
Did that for a few years with random extra routing.

I drove some "extra" mileages when I durn well felt like it yet it wasn't required and wasn't often.
Company Owner claimed GSO, NC to Coppell, TX as a straight thru tour, either way.
A mere 17+ Drive hours as he claimed...with Comic/Coloring Books.
