    You are looking at it all wrong. They are your customer, it is in your best interest to keep your customer happy. That means also keeping their customers happy. If they don't have good customers you will not be able to have good revenue from them. Only worrying about maximizing your revenue and not giving a #### about their customer relationships is very short sighted, more like employee thinking rather than business owner thinking.

    In my case I brought the freight I was pulling to them. They only had one other customer I would pull for.
    The customer I brought paid $3.20 a mile. The new management had the bright idea to stick that on a company truck,and offer me $1.86 a mile round trip to Boston. I’ll let you guess where I told them to shove it.
