    Should have rotated it to an 'Inside-Front' then probably wouldn't have been noticed.

    I find it strange I can have 4 tyres across a drive axel. The two inside tyres are shot but the outers are 40%. You would think given both wheels are bolted together the tyres would wear pretty much the same.

    Variations in air pressure between the duals can cause uneven wear.
    And different tire brands or even slight overall diameter in the two will cause it also.

    fair enough, all 4 tyres the same brand and new at the same time. Probably a variation in PSI but would be <10.
