03 C 15 bridge motor only making about 18lbs of boost

    Just bought this truck last month motor recently overhauled. Runs ok but only makes about 18lbs of boost and builds slowly. Could the low boost be the boost pressure switch? or where should I be looking? Thanks

    Could be a stuck waste gate or a pretty bad leak in your CAC or flex boots.

    Should help your MPG a bunch to get the boost back up!!

    It could be any number of things.

    exhaust sleeve broke and has damaged the turbo

    electronic wastegate controller not functioning properly.

    boost leak at aftercooler or hoses.

    You also should flash the ECM with an earlier file for much better fuel mileage and Hp
