Depends on the truck's specs. Steel cab is a little heavier than aluminum .

    fully aware of that.

Just looking at a ball park compared to a pete, KW or freightliner.

First thing I did when I bought my Star was put it on a scale. With me and the truck we were in the 18's. These days with my stuff (headache rack, chains straps, tools etc) and full tanks I'm over 20 just a little. In reality, no way to tell for sure, it could have a double frame, extra boxes, etc. Go test drive it and throw it on a scale.

I am running away from this one after talking to the owner.

1.2 million miles. Heads, bearings, turbo but no sleeves, pistons or rings.

Did some other things to it.

Him/ bank told me after last break down to stop sinking money into it. I had to sell my reefer for the last repairs.

    Me/
how much have you been putting into a maintenance escrow?

    Him/
who can afford maint when you have to pay fuel, authority, insurance etc.

    Me/
so when do you do scheduled maint?

    Him/
