03 western star 4900SA

    Mine is march 98. Steel bunk w rubber and plywood under bunk. A friend has an aug 98 same setup but steel under the bunk.

    It won't help much as it is not the year you are looking at now nor is it the acutal weight but from the spec I had done up for a 2014 4900SB 205in wheelbase daycab it was 18719lbs on the sheet as the factory weight. My 2013 Mack daycab has a sticker on the door with the weight just over 17,000, i did get a scale ticket when I purchased it but for the life of me can't remember the exact weight but it was pretty close if memory serves.

    I have a 2005, 4900sa, with an apu, twin screw, and 82 inch sleeper. With full tanks(300gallons), myself and my wife, and packed for long hauls mine weighed 22740.... ya, me too. I was always aware they are heavy, but it surprised me. I still love my truck.
