Looking at a Pete but its in Oregon and I'm in Pennsylvania. It was rolled on its side and crushed cab and hood. Waiting for vin number but wondered if anyone knows when they switched from the 6nz to mbn? Is the mbn as good as 6nz?

only if you unbridge the mbn. more than likely it's an mbn being an 04.

Could be an MBN or a BXS Acert. 2WS are most commonly used in 2000, 6NZ was introduced in 2001 I believe.

iirc back in 99 you could spec either a 2WS or a 6NZ.

The classic we just picked up is a early 2000 and it has a 6nz in it, the serial is 3251 so there are some early ones out there.
