04 volvo computer code glitches when hooking up to certain containers

has anyone had a similar situation? truck working fine then you hook up to a load and the computer goes crazy with malfunction codes? doesnt happen with all hook ups only certain containers but you have to reset the codes for the truck to work again, not sure how to solve the problem but my driver is fed up with having the truck breakdown!HELP!
