sleeper leaking water into bunk when it rains, left hand side behind driver seat. seems to be coming from along the shelf on back side of bunk, have a wardrobe cabinet, where it meets the shelf water comes in somewhere around there.
I've caulked everything I can think may allow water in on the back of the truck, above and below seams of drip edge, bolts, hand rails and such.
is there anything I can do to try and locate this leak, aside from tearing out the interior?
Or any known leak points I can check?
thanks in advance
Buster

Check for cracks in the caulking along the drip rail. Check for and cracks around the bolts that hold the air shield in place, or you may have to remove the ones on that side and reseal them. The water is probably leaking in from somewhere no too far away and tracking inside the seams.
double yellow Thanks this. -
found a crack in the sealant under the drip edge on the drivers side, just in front of the rear air wing, could be the culprit, caulked it, sprayed water on it, not seeing any leak, I'll have to wait for some rain before I'll know for sure.
thanks for the come back Heavy D.
let you know -
Water doesn't always leak straight down. It will seep along edges and flow in a path that sometimes doesn't make sense. This is especially true with wind driven rain water on a vehicle. I hope that fixes it!
Strider and hd99_fatboy Thank this. -
ya I'm thinking this is whats going on, doesn't seem to be anything in the back that would let water in, or where it's showing up anyway. so the crack along the side drip edge is the only place I could find that may.
now just waiting for the rain...
as crazy as that sounds...
thanks HeavyD
