I have a 2005 Freightliner Argosy, that has a non stop beeping noise, what could it be? There are no lights on dash and the doors and stairs are shut all the way.
I would appreciate any help.
Thank you

any message on screen?
what did you do before problem appeared? any works in trash area? driving rought roads? where are you from? argosy is a rare truck here, usually wight ex-swift trucks converted to BDF container haulers -
I am from California, our driver is on his way to MT, no trash area, no rough roads. He woke up this morning and hit the road and the beeping started. He thinks it might be the steps. I also found on another forum that if a tail light is out it will continue to beep also. So he is going to check those things out and get back to me later.

Use this list to find Buzzer actuation wire. It is easy using DVOM to find what buzzer pin is grounded.
As you can see there are optional Buzzer inputs, that actuate Buzzer w/o text warning and indicator lightx1Heavy Thanks this. -
Or in plain English...
Does it have a low voltage disconnect and warning on the rig? If so, it's normally behind the passenger side panel, right by the passenger seat. See if the noise is coming from there.
Martinx1Heavy Thanks this. -
ouh, LVD switch unit is located in right side of cab, really)))) Instrumental cluster beeper is built in cluster
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
BTW, about beep sound. Many Argosy trucks were used by SWIFT and retired converted to 20' container haulers + European trailer and Swift used dataloger ore something like this hidden in sleeper. They remove it but datalink and CAN wires not. and when this wiring is short instrumental cluster beeeps
x1Heavy Thanks this.
