05 Pete trouble

    I have a 05 Pete with a 475 bsx motor. It shut down yesterday and wont start back up. It will run on starting fluid. All the fuses are good I cant find any broking wires. Also the fuel mileage sucks its getting 4,4.5 mpg. It has 3.55 rears 18 speed trans. I run between 68 to 70 mph.

    The fuel pump is push fuel through lines but not firing. Not sure what lift pump is but how can I check it.

    if you mean BXS Cat Acert, did you get any warning lights? Did it quit suddenly like you turned off the key? Or did it stumble and miss before it died like it was running out of fuel?

    No I didnt warning lights it just shut down like turning the key off.

    When you turn the key on BUT do not start it can you here the ECM and ABS sensors "clicking" doing their prestart checks?
